  2010年7月硕士研究生毕业于长沙理工大学。同年8月赴香港城市大学攻读博士学位。主要研究方向:纳米材料与相关器件。在J. Phys. Chem. C、Appl. Phys. Lett.、J. Chem. Phys.和J. Appl. Lett. 等刊物上发表SCI学术论文近40篇, 其中第一作者发表SCI论文13篇,H-index为10。
 
报告摘要:
 
The nano-electronic technology has shown great potential as an innovative approach to incorporate various functionalities in molecular electronic devices. With this technology, many molecular devices have proposed functional properties such as molecular rectifying, negative differential resistance (NDR), and switch behaviors etc.. Recently, carbon-based nano materials, such as carbon chains, carbon nanotube (CNT) and graphene, have attracted considerable attention in terms of theoretical research. At the same time, an applicable structure and modulation of their characteristics continue to elude researchers. In this talk, we construct, validate and investigate the transport properties of several carbon-based molecular devices, such as carbon-doped boron-nitride nanowire, end groups capped carbon chains, ring-based devices and h-BNC heterojunctions, and all-carbon-based systems, such as two grephene nanoribbon
(GNR) junctions, GNR- chain- CNT junctions and GNR- chain- graphite junctions, with the help of first principles technology theoretically. These kinds of novel carbon-based nanomaterials can be manufactured as nanometer-sized, free-standing, easy-modified, high stability, and prefer availability molecular devices.
